Rafał Mikler

I was born and live in Zakopane, so the mountains have been my "playground" since childhood. My greatest passion is climbing, often on difficult routes. I also appreciate simply being in the mountains, their silence and majesty, and communing with the beauty of nature.

I also have a passion for sport climbing, and I spend a lot of time exploring Polish and European rock regions.

I enjoy skiing and ski mountaineering. I work as a professional rescuer for the Tatra Volunteer Search and Rescue (TAPR).

I serve as vice president of the board and am also a member of the Technical Committee of the Polish Mountaineering Association (PSPW).

I hold a Master's degree in Philosophy from the Jagiellonian University. My thesis was titled "The Space of Mountain Values." 🙂
I am interested in literature, music, film, and, of course, the broad philosophy of mountains and their cultural aspects.

I guide in the Tatra Mountains, Dolomites, and Alps, specializing in finding less popular but interesting destinations. I also invite you to rocky regions of Europe, including coastal areas, where you can extend your climbing season and enjoy Mediterranean cuisine.

In winter, I offer ski touring and ice and mixed climbing, which are also my specialty.

I am committed to the safety, comfort, and development of my students.

I live for and in the mountains, and I want and enjoy sharing my passion and experience with all mountain lovers.
